Pharmacy Standards used for pharmacy audits
The Health and disability services Standards – Pharmacy services Standard NZS 8134.7:2010 will be used by Ministry of Health medicines control auditors for pharmacy audits against legislative and district health board contractual requirements, from the beginning of the new 5-year audit cycle in July 2010.
NZS 8134.7:2010 follows a similar format to the Health and Disability Services Standards used for certification of residential care and hospital care providers. NZS 8134.7:2010 also follows a similar format to the Allied Health Services Sector Standard.
