Amendment A:2011 to AS/NZS 60598.2.2:2001 Luminaires – Particular requirements – Recessed luminaires

Amendment A is a New Zealand-only amendment and introduces new classes of recessed luminaires that do not operate unsafely in buildings where thermal insulation is installed or may be installed at a later time. The amendment also prohibits the use of non-classified recessed luminaires in residential installations.
