DZ 5433 Part 1 Transport of Dangerous Goods on Land Part 1:Technical Information
This draft revised version of NZS 5433: 2007 is in two parts. Both parts incorporate changes from the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (UNRTDG), 16th edition, as well as the latest relevant New Zealand legislative requirements related to dangerous goods transported on land. The Standard makes reference to, but does not detail, sources of information on the transport of dangerous goods by sea or air. The Standard provides manufacturers, distributors, and transporters of dangerous goods with information such as packing instructions, labelling, segregation, and other requirements to ensure the safe transport of dangerous goods by road and rail. The Standard represents best practice. It is up-to-date and detailed information on the safe transport of dangerous goods, which will be of benefit to both operators and regulators.
