Consumer warranties – potential new area of work for ISO

Standards New Zealand is consulting with stakeholders about a potential new area of work for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a guideline Standard on consumer warranties. The proposed Standard would be used by manufacturers and retailers of goods and services to give advice on the requirements for effective warranties, when these warranties are provided with their goods and services.

New list of approved child restraint technicians on NZTA website

Parents and caregivers across New Zealand have a new tool to help them quickly find a qualified professional able to provide advice on the sale, rental, and fitting of child restraints. The New Zealand Transport Authority (NZTA) website has been updated with a new Find a child restraint technician map. The map lists (via region) child restraint technicians (CRTs) who have been trained and certified, and are happy to be contacted by parents and caregivers.
