On-site domestic wastewater management – revised Standard published

Issue 36 – March 2012

Standards New Zealand has published AS/NZS 1547:2012 On-site domestic wastewater management. The purpose of AS/NZS 1547 is to provide the performance objectives, requirements, and criteria to achieve sustainable and effective on-site domestic wastewater management, and to protect public health and the environment. The Standard not only provides the means of complying with these requirements, but of continually improving the techniques employed by all stakeholders.
