DR AS/NZS 4069 Bathseats – Product requirements (Revision of AS 4069-1993)
Specifies requirements for seating appliances which are designed to sit over the bath, rest on or are fixed to, the edges of the bath. It also includes static seating used within the bath that is stabilized by the sides or the edges of the bath. These requirements do not cover hoists incorporating a seat or bench that are placed within, over or near the bath.

This Standard also specifies appropriate detailed labelling requirements to be applied in conjunction with relevant legislation.
