The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) is seeking feedback from public transport stakeholders on proposed changes to its procurement manual and operational policies to implement the new Public Transport Operating Model (PTOM). The new model has been developed to increase value for money from public transport investment through a combination of planning, funding, procurement, and partnering tools and incentives, which will help regions and public transport operators build stronger collaborative relationships. It covers all public transport modes – bus, ferry, and rail.

Submissions for the current round of consultation close on 21 June 2013.
