Citation Context:
Every person on board the jet boat must be provided with a lifejacket and this is to be worn at all times when the boat is on the water. Suitable children's life jackets must be provided when children are carried. Lifejackets must comply with NZS 5823:1989, NZS 5823:2001 or NZS 5823:2005 as amended by Standards New Zealand from time to time, but are not required to meet the light retro -reflective tape requirement contained in that standard.
